Return Policy & Freight Claims:
If a product is found to be defective, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number will be issued. Items must be returned in the original packaging with the RMA number written on the outside of the box. The shipping cost back to Retek will be reimbursed once the item is confirmed to be defective by a Retekdirect technician. A Retekdirect technician will test the item for customer-incurred damage, if any, and other defects. Retekdirect will ship a replacement for the defective item at our company’s expense, once the item is received in our warehouse. If an equivalent replacement is not available, Retekdirect will provide a full refund of the purchase price plus shipping. If the item is found not to be defective, a 15% restocking fee will be applied. We must be notified of any problems within 5 business days of delivery.
·We are not liable for improper installation or damage to or from other components. Nor do we guarantee the item for a particular application. We will not provide a refund or accept a return if a product is purchased in error. Since we stock and sell such a wide variety of consumer electronics, computers, cables and components, we cannot provide installation services or advice.
· Please note that you must contact us to get your RMA number prior to returning your item. Any unauthorized RMAs will NOT be processed. To request an RMA number, please call 925.456.9010 x 104.
*ONCE AN ITEM IS GIVEN AN RMA NUMBER, IT MUST BE RECEIVED BY RETEK WITHIN 30 DAYS OR IT WILL NOT BE PROCESSED. NO EXCEPTIONS!
